Jennifer D. Harkness-Allen is a native of Columbia, South Carolina. She currently resides in Powder Springs, Georgia with her husband and their two children. Jennifer is a graduate of Spelman College (Atlanta, GA) and the University of Georgia (Athens, GA). She is an ordained Itinerant Elder in the AME Church and serves as an Associate Minister at Turner Chapel AME Church (Marietta, GA).

 

Additional ministry includes Praise & Worship Leader, prayer warrior, supporter of the women’s ministry, and former Executive Director of the church’s nonprofit program called the Turner Hill Community Development Corporation.With over 20 years of professional experience in community-based and nonprofit organizations, Jennifer has extensive knowledge, management and donor relations experience, which includes seeking new and innovative ways to maximize and leverage resources for community impact; providing community leadership and building relationships with and between donors, nonprofits, and, partnering with funders to drive impact in areas of Education, Youth Mentoring, Health/Well-Being, Arts, Community Development, and Nonprofit Effectiveness.
